HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT
The Company places Health and Safety as its paramount concern. The policy of West and Senior Limited is to provide and maintain safe and healthy working conditions, equipment and systems of work for all employees, and to provide such information, training and supervision as they need for this purpose. We also accept our responsibility for the health and safety of other people who may be affected by our activities. The allocation of duties for safety matters and the particular arrangements which we will make to implement the policy are detailed within our Health and Safety Manual. The policy will be kept up to date, particularly as the business changes in nature and size. To ensure this, the policy and the way in which it is operated will be on a continuous basis.

ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT
West & Senior Limited is a Responsible Care Company as promoted by the Chemical Business Association. Responsible Care is the chemical industry’s commitment to continuous improvements in health, safety and environmental performance. It is a global initiative covering both chemical producers and distributors. Its aim is to meet all legislative and internationally accepted requirements for the environment, waste treatment and waste disposal.
Responsible Care aims to develop an attitude and a culture which ensures that chemicals are handled and distributed safely using constantly improving operations and techniques. Wherever possible we will employ suppliers and contractors who operate procedures in line with the guiding principles of Responsible Care. Our objective is to promote the recycling of wastes which are recoverable.
There will be openness in our relationship with our employees, customers, suppliers and local community which will allow us to reinforce our commitment to conserve the environment and work towards sustainable development. In particular, we will encourage all employees through education and leadership to protect our natural resources.
